The source presents the Seal of the Seven Archangels as a talisman from the 17th-century Grimoire of Armadel. It describes a seven-pointed star containing the names of seven archangels, with the Latin names and symbols of seven planets at its centre.

The source associates the medal with spiritual protection and elevation and attributes particular roles to Raphael, Gabriel, Samael, Mikael or Michael, Tzafqkiel, Haniel and Tzadkiel, including healing, family protection, justice, love, clairvoyance, comfort and spiritual guidance.
