It is also traditionally linked with emotional balance, patience, confidence and the ability to approach difficult situations with greater calm and determination. In spiritual practices, it may be associated with the root and sacral chakras.

Traditional lithotherapy sources attribute many physical, reproductive, hormonal, circulatory, digestive and other therapeutic effects to red jasper. These claims are not medically proven. The stone should never replace medical advice, diagnosis or treatment, including during pregnancy.
