Magnetite is a naturally magnetic mineral. Historical interest in magnets and “animal magnetism” notably developed in Europe in the 18th century, including through the work of Franz Anton Mesmer.

In lithotherapy and esoteric traditions, magnetite is associated with grounding, attraction, reconciliation, confidence and symbolic protection.

The French source also attributes effects involving pain, inflammation, circulation, cramps, stress, weight regulation and other health conditions. These therapeutic claims are not medically established. Magnetic jewellery must not replace medical advice, diagnosis or treatment.

Important precaution: magnets can interfere with some implanted medical devices. People with a pacemaker, implanted defibrillator or other magnet-sensitive medical device should not use this product without medical advice. Keep magnets away from devices or objects that may be affected by magnetic fields.
