Selenite “Temple of Light” Obelisk

With its pearly white appearance and silky reflections, Selenite is associated in the source with clarity, purity and the softness of the Moon. The source notes its historical use for transmitting light in some buildings and its later association with sacred and modern esoteric practices.

This approx. 15 cm Selenite obelisk is presented as a decorative and spiritual object. Within esoteric traditions, it is associated with energetic purification, serenity, the crown and third-eye chakras, intuition, meditation, spiritual guidance and protection.

The source also attributes relaxation, relief of tension and stress, support during fatigue or overwork and more peaceful sleep to Selenite. These stress, fatigue, sleep and other wellbeing effects are not medically or scientifically established and the stone does not replace professional healthcare.

For the home, the source suggests placing it near an entrance, in a bedroom, meditation area, altar or workspace, according to the desired symbolic intention.

Care: the source states that Selenite is delicate and should not be placed under running water or soaked in water or salt mixtures. It also recommends avoiding prolonged direct sunlight. Suggested spiritual cleansing practices include smoke, sound, soft moonlight or intention; these are esoteric practices rather than scientifically established cleansing methods.
