Double-Sided Saint Christopher & Our Lady of the Way Keyring

Silver-coloured metal – length approx. 8.5 cm / diameter approx. 3 cm

Christian tradition recounts that Christopher of Lycia carried travellers across a dangerous torrent. One day he carried a child whose extraordinary weight surprised him; the child revealed that in carrying him, Christopher had carried the whole world.

Side 1: Saint Christopher is traditionally venerated as a patron of travellers, including people travelling by car, motorcycle, bicycle, plane or other means of transport. The medal is worn or carried as a devotional symbol of protection during journeys.

Side 2: Our Lady of the Way, or Madonna della Strada, is a representation of the Virgin Mary with the Child Jesus dating from the 15th century. It is particularly associated with Jesuit devotion and is traditionally invoked during travel.
